Terms of Sale

By placing an order with Matriarch either through our website, through a Matriarch QuickBooks invoice and/or direct payment via credit card purchase to Matriach, you agree to pay the price applicable for the product or service (including any sales taxes, surcharges, or delivery fees), and agree to the terms, restrictions, and conditions of the purchase as of the time you submitted the order. All purchases are non-refundable. 

Without limiting other remedies, we reserve the right to charge a late fee on all past due payments equivalent to the lesser of one and a half percent (1.5%) per month on the unpaid balance or the highest rate allowed by law. You will pay for all collection costs, attorneys fees, and court costs incurred in the collection of past due amounts.

Sales Tax

Sales taxes are not included in the price of the products. We will automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders placed through


Discounted delivery is available for multiple arrangements being delivered on the same date to one location. Please email us for an exact quote.


Deliveries are made between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PST in almost all cases unless in unique cases such as traffic, weather, etc. We cannot guarantee delivery time, but will do our best to accommodate your preferences. 

Regretfully, we are only able to make one (1) delivery attempt. If we are unable to locate the recipient, or authorized receiver, at the time of delivery, we may leave the flowers outside of the residence or with a nearby business or neighbor. If we do leave the item at a different nearby location, we will notify the recipient by phone or email. If no secondary delivery option is available, the customer may incur an additional delivery charge to re-deliver the product to the delivery location. 

Deliveries will not be made on Sundays or public holidays unless otherwise agreed upon by all parties involved.

Recipient Availability

Please leave very specific instructions for the delivery of your item(s) in the delivery details field during checkout. Matriarch reserves the right to use all of the following means to complete a delivery:

- Leave item at the front door
- Leave item at reception
- Leave at back door
- Leave item with neighbor or nearby business
- Leave item in a closed-off or secured spot within the home (i.e. behind a tree, under a chair, etc.)


Subject to the availability of items including but not limited to specific flowers, foliage, greenery, vases, and gifting items, Matriarch will attempt to supply products that match the images and descriptions provided on the website and/or through order communications.

By placing an order with Matriarch, you acknowledge that minor variations between the images and descriptions provided on the website and the goods as delivered may occur.

Additionally, you agree that some flowers are seasonal, some flowers may be of different value depending on the season, and some flowers may not be available for delivery in certain areas. Our floral designers will substitute any unavailable flowers for those of a similar appearance and value, and you agree not to hold us responsible for any such variations. Where non-floral items are selected (such as chocolates, coffee, beauty products, etc.), and are not available, we will do our best to contact you of the substitution options of equal or greater value.


Matriarch uses fresh flowers and should you find that are you find specific quality issues with the fresh floral product within 24 hours of delivery we will replace the flowers and deliver them to the Delivery Address, at no additional cost to you the Sender, provided that the Recipient complete all of the following steps:

1.     The Recipient or individual at the delivery location made every attempt to keep the florals in a spot that would reasonably keep the florals and greenery fresh (i.e. out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources, etc.).
2.     Emails our studio as soon as possible but not less than twenty-four (24) hours following delivery to notify us of such damage; and
3.     Sender emailed digital photos of the issue to

Should, in accordance with the above, we provide you with a replacement item of equal or greater value then, subject to any statutory rights you may have which cannot be excluded, you agree we have completely discharged our obligations, and any liability we may have, to you.


Flowers and greenery are not for human or animal consumption and we cannot be held liable for any damages incurred as a consequence of consumption.

You must provide clear and specific information when placing the order for flowers if the Recipient has any allergies to particular types of flowers. If you do not do so then we will not be able to take any allergies into account when supplying the products. You agree that Matriarch will not be held responsible for allergy issues if no related and specific allergy information is provided to Matriarch.
